If you are driving, start from the main road leading to Chavín de Huantar, known as the Carretera Huascarán. Follow the signs toward Chavín, and once you reach the town, use a GPS or map application to navigate to the coordinates of Catarata de Cunca (HFG9+RH, Chavin 02120). The waterfall is about 30 minutes northeast of Chavín, approximately 15 km along a dirt road. Be prepared for rough terrain, and consider a 4WD vehicle for better access. Parking may be limited, so plan to arrive early.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Huaraz to Chavín de Huantar. Buses leave frequently from the Huaraz bus terminal and the journey takes about 3 hours. Upon arrival in Chavín, you can hire a local taxi or find shared transportation to take you to Catarata de Cunca. Make sure to agree on a fare beforehand; expect to pay around 20-30 soles for the ride. The taxi will take about 30 minutes and drop you off near the waterfall.
