Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Huaraz. Head east on Avenida Luzuriaga towards the intersection with Avenida 28 de Julio. Continue straight onto the Carretera Huaraz-Pashpa (PE-3N) for approximately 35 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Huascarán National Park. Enter the park and follow the signs towards Laguna Queushu. The last stretch is on a dirt road; be cautious as it may be bumpy. Parking is available near the lagoon.

Public Transportation
To reach Laguna Queushu via public transportation, take a bus from Huaraz to the town of Keushu. Buses leave regularly from the Huaraz bus terminal. Upon arrival in Keushu, you will need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a shared ride to the Laguna Queushu trailhead. Taxi fares can vary, so it’s best to negotiate the price beforehand. The taxi ride to the trailhead usually takes about 30 minutes.

Once you reach the trailhead, you will need to hike approximately 2.5 kilometers to reach Laguna Queushu. The trail is well-marked but can be steep in some areas. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. The hike takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
