From the main plaza in Ica, head to the nearby 'Terminal Terrestre de Ica'. Look for buses heading to Huacachina, which is a short ride away. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off at the entrance of Huacachina. Follow the signs leading to the oasis.

Taxi or Mototaxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or mototaxi from anywhere in Ica. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Huacachina. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic. Be sure to negotiate the fare before getting in, or ask for a meter to be used.

Walking
For the adventurous, you can walk to Huacachina from Ica. Start from the main square and head west on Avenida La Cultura until you reach the junction with Avenida Libertadores. Turn left on Avenida Libertadores and continue walking straight. You will eventually see the sand dunes and the oasis in the distance, which is a 5-6 km walk and takes around 1 to 1.5 hours.
