Public Bus
From the center of Ica, head to the main bus terminal located on Av. Andrés Avelino Cáceres. Look for buses heading toward Huacachina; they are frequent and should be easily identifiable. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Huacachina, you will be dropped off near the entrance of the oasis. Follow the path through the town to reach the lagoon at the center of the oasis.

Mototaxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a mototaxi from anywhere in Ica. Simply hail one on the street or ask your hotel to call one for you. Provide the driver with the destination 'Huacachina'. The ride will take around 10 minutes, and you will be dropped off at the oasis entrance. From there, walk a short distance to the lagoon area.

Walking
For the more adventurous, you can walk to Huacachina from Ica. Start from the Plaza de Armas in Ica and head southwest on Av. Arequipa. Continue on this road until you reach the outskirts of the city, where you will see signs for Huacachina. The distance is approximately 5 kilometers and will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Follow the signs toward Huacachina, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
