Car
From the Inca Trail, head towards the nearest major town, which is typically Ollantaytambo. From there, take the road towards Santa Teresa. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the town of Santa Teresa. Continue on the main road, and after about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at the Camino Inca a la Selva location (F479+656, 19220). Be prepared to pay for parking in Santa Teresa, which usually costs around 10-20 PEN per day.
Public Transportation
From the Inca Trail, make your way to the nearest bus station in Ollantaytambo. Take a bus to Santa Teresa, which should take about 1.5 to 2 hours and costs approximately 15-20 PEN. Once in Santa Teresa, you can either walk or take a taxi to Camino Inca a la Selva. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and cost around 15-25 PEN.
Taxi
If you prefer a direct route, you can hire a taxi from Ollantaytambo directly to Camino Inca a la Selva. This option will be more expensive, costing approximately 80-100 PEN for the ride, but it will take around 1.5 hours, providing a more comfortable journey.
