Car
If you are driving, head to Aguas Calientes, a town that serves as the gateway to Machu Picchu. From the main road, follow the signs to Aguas Calientes. Once you arrive, park your vehicle in one of the designated parking areas, as street parking is not available. After parking, walk towards the town center and look for signs leading you to POQUES, located at RFCH+F5V. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes.
Public Transportation
To reach POQUES via public transportation, take a train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. The train ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes train station, exit the station and walk towards the town center. POQUES is located at RFCH+F5V, which is around a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Look for local signs or ask locals for directions if needed. Note that train tickets can cost between $60 to $100 USD depending on the service class.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Aguas Calientes. Just inform the driver that you want to go to POQUES at RFCH+F5V. The taxi ride will take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Taxi fares in Aguas Calientes are generally reasonable, averaging about 5-10 soles.
