Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Ollantaytambo. Head east on Av. Ferrocarril towards the Inca Trail entrance, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. Follow the signs to the Inca Trail and ensure you have the necessary permits for access. Once you reach the entrance to the Inca Trail, pay any required fees and park your car in the designated area. From there, follow the hiking trail towards Quarry Group, which is located along the Inca Trail route. Be prepared for a moderate trek, and bring sufficient water and snacks.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Quarry Group via public transportation, start from Cusco. Take a bus from the Cusco main bus terminal to Ollantaytambo, which will cost around 10-15 soles. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
