Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Aguas Calientes (the nearest town to Machu Picchu). Head east on Avenida Hermanos Ayar, then turn left onto the road leading to the Inca Trail entrance. Follow the signs towards 'Inca Bridge Trail.' The drive takes approximately 20 minutes. Please note that parking near the trailhead is limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Aguas Calientes, take a local bus that runs frequently to the Inca Trail entrance. The bus station is located near the train station. Purchase a ticket (around 10-15 soles) and board the bus heading towards 'Machu Picchu' or 'Inca Bridge.' The ride will take about 30 minutes, and you will arrive at the trailhead where the Inca Bridge Trail begins.
