If you're driving, start from the town of Huancavelica. Head southeast on the main road (Carretera Huancavelica) for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the area near the coordinates MWHJ+X2M. There may be limited signage, so use a GPS-enabled device to ensure you follow the exact coordinates: -12.3200275, -75.0699622. Once you arrive at the vicinity, park your car in a safe area and prepare for a short walk to Inka Mach'ay.
Public Transportation
From Huancavelica, take a local bus heading south towards the town of Acobamba. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on road conditions. Inform the driver you want to get off near Inka Mach'ay, or ask locals for the closest drop-off point. Once you get off the bus, you may need to walk approximately 30 minutes along a dirt path leading to the archaeological site. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear, as the terrain can be uneven.
