Public Transportation
From the main square in Cusco (Plaza de Armas), you can take a public bus to Ollantaytambo. Look for buses labeled 'Ollantaytambo' near the Plaza. The ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, and the fare is around 10-15 soles. Once you arrive in Ollantaytambo, you will need to transfer to a taxi or a shuttle service that will take you to the Inca Trail entrance at Piscacucho (Km 82) for about 50 soles.
