From the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Centro, head south on Calle Prospero for about 5 blocks. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. At the end of Calle Prospero, turn left onto Avenida José de la Riva Agüero. Continue walking for another 2 blocks until you reach the intersection with Avenida Putumayo. Mercado Belén will be on your right, just across the street.
Mototaxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a mototaxi. From the Plaza de Armas, look for a mototaxi stand nearby. The fare to Mercado Belén should be around 3-5 soles. Inform the driver to take you to Mercado Belén, and they will navigate the streets for you. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, renting a bicycle can be a fun way to explore Centro. Many rental spots are available near Plaza de Armas. Once you have your bicycle, head south on Calle Prospero, then turn left onto Avenida José de la Riva Agüero. After 2 blocks, turn right onto Avenida Putumayo, and you will see Mercado Belén on your right. Be cautious of traffic and pedestrians.
