If you are starting from the main square in Iquitos, Plaza de Armas, head east on Jirón Putumayo. Continue straight for about 5 blocks until you reach Jirón Putumayo 291. The St. John the Baptist Cathedral will be on your left, easily recognizable by its tall clock tower and beautiful facade.

From the Belen Market, exit the market and head south towards the riverfront. Walk along the river until you reach the intersection with Jirón Putumayo. Turn left onto Jirón Putumayo and walk about 10 minutes. The cathedral will be located at Jirón Putumayo 291 on your right.
