From Junín, head northwest on the Carretera Central (Route 22) towards the town of La Oroya. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the junction for the Carretera 3S. Take this road towards Marcapomacocha. Continue on this road for about 50 km until you reach the village of Marcapomacocha. Upon arrival, look for signs pointing to 'Cascada Carispaccha'. The waterfall is located nearby, and you may need to park your car and walk a short distance to reach the viewing area. Please be aware that the road conditions may vary, and it is advisable to have a reliable vehicle or consult local guides if unsure.

Public Transportation

From Junín, take a bus from the main terminal headed towards La Oroya. The journey typically takes around 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in La Oroya, you can transfer to a local bus heading to Marcapomacocha. The fare for the bus from Junín to La Oroya is usually around 10-15 PEN, and from La Oroya to Marcapomacocha, it may cost about 5-10 PEN.
