Public Bus
To reach Huaca San Marcos from the city center (Plaza Mayor), head to the closest bus stop on Avenida Abancay. Look for buses heading towards 'La Victoria' or 'San Luis'. Board one of these buses and ask the driver to drop you off at the 'Av. República de Venezuela' stop. This should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, walk along Av. República de Venezuela towards the north for about 10 minutes until you see the entrance to Huaca San Marcos on your right.

Start your journey by taking the Lima Metro Line 1 from 'Estación Central' towards 'Los Libertadores'. Get off at 'Gamarra' station. From there, exit the station and head west towards Av. México. Catch a bus or take a taxi to Av. República de Venezuela. The Huaca San Marcos is a 5-10 minute walk from there. Follow Av. República de Venezuela north until you reach the archaeological site.
