Walking
From the main entrance of Machu Picchu, head towards the central plaza area. Once you reach the plaza, stay to the right and follow the path that leads towards the Inca Trail. Continue along this path for about 10 minutes until you see the sign for Intimachay. The path is well-marked and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

If you are near the Temple of the Sun, exit the temple area and head back towards the main path that leads to the agricultural terraces. Once you reach the terraces, turn left and continue walking along the path. After about 5 minutes, you will see a pathway leading upwards to Intimachay. Follow this path until you reach the site.

From the Intihuatana stone (the ritual stone associated with astronomy), take the path that leads downhill. After a short descent, you will find a fork in the path. Take the right fork, which will lead you towards Intimachay. Continue on this path for about 7 minutes, and you will arrive at your destination.
