Getting There

Walking
From the Machu Picchu train station, exit the station and follow the road downhill towards the main street. Once you reach Avenida Pachacutec, turn left and continue walking along the street. You will pass several shops and small restaurants. Keep walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the Plaza de Armas in Aguas Calientes. From the Plaza, head towards the left side where you’ll find the Imperio de los Incas street. Continue straight on this street for about 5 minutes. Ponchos Machupicchu Restaurant is located at Imperio de los Incas 503, on your right-hand side.

From the Machu Picchu archaeological site, take a bus back down to Aguas Calientes. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Aguas Calientes, exit the bus and head towards the main street, Avenida Pachacutec. Turn left and walk for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the Plaza de Armas. At the Plaza, take the left exit towards Imperio de los Incas street.
