Getting There

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Puerto Maldonado. Head south on Avenida Jorge Basadre towards Avenida 1 de Mayo. Continue straight onto the road leading to the Madre de Dios River. After approximately 15 km, you will reach the entrance to Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica, which is located along the river at Km 15. Look for the signage indicating the lodge. Parking is available at the lodge.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica via public transport, take a local bus from the main bus terminal in Puerto Maldonado. Buses to the 'Madre de Dios' region frequently depart from the terminal. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Km 15 marker along the Madre de Dios River; the bus fare is typically around 2-5 soles.
