    If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Inambari from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Take the Interoceanic Highway (BR-364) heading southeast. After approximately 40 kilometers, you will reach the junction for Puerto Carlos. Follow the signs to Puerto Carlos, which is about 10 kilometers off the highway. The final stretch of road will lead you directly to the area marked 3QP3+JF5, 17500. The drive should take around an hour from Puerto Maldonado, depending on road conditions.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Puerto Carlos via public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Puerto Maldonado. Look for buses heading to Inambari, which are frequent and cost around 10-15 soles. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Inambari, you can either hire a mototaxi or a private car to take you the final 10 kilometers to Puerto Carlos, which should cost around 20-30 soles.
