If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Paracas National Reserve. Head south on the main road that leads into the reserve. Continue along this road for approximately 10 kilometers, following the signs to 'Golden Shadows Trek'. You will pass by several scenic viewpoints and the stunning coastline. Once you arrive at Paracas C10, you will find the trailhead for the Golden Shadows Trek. There is no specific parking area, but you can safely park along the road.

Public Transportation
To reach Golden Shadows Trek using public transport, start from the main town of Paracas. Look for a local taxi or mototaxi (three-wheeled taxi) that can take you directly to Paracas C10. The fare should be around 10-15 soles. Inform the driver that you want to go to Golden Shadows Trek. Once you arrive at Paracas C10, you can easily spot the trailhead.

If you are already within the Paracas National Reserve and prefer to walk, you can start from the main visitor center. Follow the main path leading out of the center towards the coast. After about 20 minutes of walking, you’ll come to the junction near Paracas C10. From there, continue walking straight until you reach the trailhead for Golden Shadows Trek. The total walking distance from the visitor center is approximately 3 kilometers.
