Walking
Start at the Tacna Plaza de Armas, which is centrally located in Tacna. From the main square, head south on Calle San Martín. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Bolognesi. Turn left onto Avenida Bolognesi and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida Jorge Basadre. Here, turn right. Follow Avenida Jorge Basadre for about 10 minutes until you see signs or reach the area of Plaza de Pocollay, which will be on your right. Look for the central square, which is a popular local gathering place.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Tacna Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearby bus terminal located on Calle San Martín. Look for local buses heading towards Pocollay or any bus that indicates it will pass through the area. The bus ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pocollay stop, disembark and walk a short distance to the Plaza de Pocollay, which should be easily visible.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from any point in Tacna. Simply tell the driver 'Plaza de Pocollay' and they will know where to take you. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand if the taxi doesn’t have a meter.
