Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the main square, Plaza de Armas, head south on Avenida Bolognesi for about 5 minutes until you reach Avenida San Martin. Turn left and walk east for approximately 10 minutes. The Tacna Cathedral will be on your left, just past the intersection with Calle Comercio. Look for the large façade and the beautiful bell tower.

From the Plaza de Armas, you can take a local bus heading towards the 'Centro' or 'Catedral' route. The bus stop is on Avenida Bolognesi. Board the bus and get off at the stop near Avenida San Martin. From the bus stop, walk about 2 minutes east on Avenida San Martin, and you will find the Tacna Cathedral on your left-hand side.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hail a taxi or a mototaxi from anywhere in Tacna. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Catedral de Tacna' or 'Avenida San Martin'. The ride should take about 5 minutes from the Plaza de Armas, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right in front of the cathedral.
