From the main square of Trujillo (Plaza de Armas), head to the nearest bus terminal. Look for a bus heading towards La Esperanza. The fare is usually around 1-2 soles. Once on the bus, tell the driver you are going to 'Huaca El Dragon' or 'Complejo Arqueológico Chan-Chan'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive, get off at the stop near Pedro Murillo S/N. From there, walk towards the archaeological site, which is well-signposted.
