Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Plaza de Armas, head towards the main square facing the large fountain. From there, walk towards the south side of the square, where you will see the Jirón Orbegoso street. Turn left onto Jirón Orbegoso. Continue walking along this street for about 5 minutes. The Trujillo Cathedral Basilica will be on your right at Jirón Orbegoso 451.

    From the Trujillo Central Market, exit the market and head east towards Av. España. Cross the road and turn left on Av. España. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Plaza de Armas. Once at the plaza, follow the previous directions to the Basilica.

    If you are at the Museo de Arqueología, you can walk towards the main road, Av. Pizarro. Turn right and walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the Plaza de Armas. From there, follow the directions to Jirón Orbegoso as previously mentioned.
