If you are in Tagbilaran City, head to the Tagbilaran Terminal and find a tricycle. Tell the driver you want to go to Trinidad and that you are headed to Batungay Caverns. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The tricycle can drop you off at the junction where you turn off to the Batungay Caverns.

From Tagbilaran City, go to the Integrated Bus Terminal and take a bus headed to Carmen or Trinidad. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the junction leading to Batungay Caverns in Trinidad. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you get off at the junction, look for a tricycle or motorcycle taxi to take you the remaining distance to Batungay Caverns.

If you are staying in the vicinity of Trinidad, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (habal-habal) to take you directly to Batungay Caverns. Just provide the driver with the location '28Q6+685, Trinidad, Bohol'. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes from the center of Trinidad.
