Make sure to inform the bus driver that you wish to get off at the nearest port for Burias Shoal, which is generally the Port of Cagayan de Oro. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port of Cagayan de Oro, look for local boats or motorboats offering trips to Burias Shoal. It's advisable to check the boat schedules in advance, as they may vary depending on the day and weather conditions. The boat ride from the port to Burias Shoal typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.

If you are staying in a more remote area of Cagayan de Oro, you can hire a tricycle to take you directly to the Bulua Bus Terminal. After arriving at the terminal, follow the steps mentioned in the public transportation section to reach Burias Shoal via bus and boat.
