Car
From Manila, take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and continue onto the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). Follow the signs toward Tarlac City and then merge onto the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX). From TPLEX, head towards the Maharlika Highway and follow it to the town of Vinzons in Camarines Norte. Once you reach Vinzons, look for signs directing you to the Calaguas Island jump-off point located at the Vinzons Port. Parking is available near the port, but be sure to check for any fees that may apply.

Public Transportation
From Manila, take a bus heading to Daet, Camarines Norte. Several bus lines operate this route, including Philtranco, which is popular among travelers. The bus journey may take around 8-10 hours, depending on traffic. Upon reaching Daet, transfer to a local jeepney or van going to Vinzons. Inform the driver you are heading to Calaguas Island. The jeepney ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Vinzons, head to the Vinzons Port to catch a boat to Calaguas Island. Boat fees generally range from PHP 1,500 to PHP 3,000 for a round trip, depending on the number of passengers.

At Vinzons Port, you will find boats waiting to take you to Calaguas Island. The boat ride typically lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to negotiate the price for the boat ride beforehand, as it can vary. You may also want to join other travelers to share costs. Once you arrive at Calaguas Island, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the hiking trails. The main hiking trail is accessible from the beach area, leading you through scenic views of the island.
