Expect around a 30-minute drive from Surigao City to the lake.

From Surigao City, head to the local bus terminal and take a bus heading to Tubod. Bus fare is approximately PHP 30-50, and the journey takes about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Tubod, you may need to take a tricycle or a local jeepney to the Mahucdam Lake area. Make sure to show the driver the address: HG9Q+JPW, Tubod, Surigao del Norte. The tricycle fare should be around PHP 20-30.
