Car
If you are driving from Surigao City, head north on the National Highway towards Pilar. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach Pilar. In Pilar, follow the signs leading to Paghungawan Marsh. The marsh is located at V3RG+JVG, which is just off the main road. Look for a small dirt road leading towards the marsh. It's advisable to use a GPS or map application for precise navigation. Free parking is usually available near the marsh.
Public Transportation
From Surigao City, take a bus or van heading to Pilar. The fare is approximately 50-70 PHP. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the junction leading to Paghungawan Marsh. Once you arrive at the junction, you may need to walk about 1-2 kilometers to reach the marsh. Alternatively, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (habal-habal) for around 100-150 PHP to take you directly to the marsh from the junction.
