Car
If you are driving to Laswitan Falls and Lagoon from the city of Tandag, Surigao del Sur, take the national highway heading towards Cortes. Follow the signs towards the town of Cortes. Once you reach Cortes, look for the road leading to Barangay Madreliñ. Use a GPS or a mapping app to help navigate to the coordinates 9.3119166, 126.1919776. There is a small road leading to the falls, which might not be well-marked, so be attentive to your surroundings as you approach the falls.
Public Transportation
From Tandag, you can take a bus heading towards Surigao City. Ask the driver to drop you off in Cortes. Once in Cortes, you can hire a local tricycle (motorized rickshaw) to take you to Laswitan Falls and Lagoon. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually costs around 100-150 PHP depending on the distance. The driver will take you close to the entrance of the falls.
Tricycle
If you're in the immediate vicinity of Cortes, you can also hire a tricycle directly from the town center. Discuss your destination with the driver and agree on a fare before the journey. The tricycle can take you all the way to the entrance of Laswitan Falls and Lagoon, which is about 15-20 minutes away.
Walking
Once you arrive at the entrance of Laswitan Falls and Lagoon, be prepared to walk a short distance to reach the falls. The path may be uneven, so wear comfortable shoes. The scenic walk will allow you to enjoy the natural beauty of the area before you reach the lagoon.
