Car
From your location in Chocolate Hills, head southeast on the main road toward the town of Loboc. Continue until you reach the junction that leads to Pilar. Turn left at the junction and follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating Pilar. Once you arrive in Pilar, look for local signage directing you to Malinao Dam, which is located at R8G5+J89. The dam is roughly 5 kilometers from the center of Pilar. Parking is available near the dam.
Public Transportation
Start by taking a jeepney from Chocolate Hills to Loboc. The fare is approximately PHP 20-30. Once in Loboc, transfer to another jeepney heading to Pilar. The fare for this leg is about PHP 15-20. Inform the driver that you are going to Malinao Dam. Once you arrive in Pilar, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the dam, or you can hire a local tricycle for about PHP 50 to take you directly to Malinao Dam from the town center.
