If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Tacloban City, the capital of Eastern Visayas. Take the Maharlika Highway (AH26) towards the north. Continue driving for approximately 2 hours until you reach Naval, the capital of Biliran Province. From Naval, take the Biliran Circumferential Road heading towards Caibiran. Follow the signs leading to Mainit Hot Spring. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Mainit Hot Spring, located at HG9V+94F, Caibiran, Biliran. Make sure to have a GPS or a map application for real-time navigation.

Public Transportation
To reach Mainit Hot Spring using public transportation, start in Tacloban City. Head to the Tacloban City Bus Terminal and take a bus bound for Naval. The bus ride typically takes about 2 hours and costs around PHP 100-150. Once you arrive in Naval, transfer to a local jeepney or van bound for Caibiran. This leg of the journey will take about 30-45 minutes and costs around PHP 30-50. Inform the driver that you are heading to Mainit Hot Spring, and they will drop you off nearby. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to the hot spring.
