Car
If you are driving from Tacloban City, take the Maharlika Highway (Route 1) heading north. Continue for about 90 kilometers until you reach the junction in Calbayog City. Turn left onto the road leading to Daram. Follow this road for approximately 38 kilometers, passing through Daram town. Upon reaching Daram, look for signs to Monbon Beach. The beach is located approximately 10 minutes from the town center. Make sure to use a GPS app for real-time navigation.
Bus
From Tacloban City, board a bus bound for Calbayog City at the Tacloban Bus Terminal. The fare is approximately 150-200 PHP and the journey takes around 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at Calbayog City, transfer to a local jeepney or van heading to Daram. The fare for the jeepney is about 50 PHP and the ride takes around 30-40 minutes. After reaching Daram, you can either walk or take a tricycle to Monbon Beach, which is about 10 minutes away.
Tricycle
Once in Daram, you can hire a tricycle to take you to Monbon Beach. The fare is usually around 100-150 PHP. Make sure to negotiate the price beforehand and confirm the return trip if you plan to come back to Daram after your visit.
