Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the Municipality of Capul in Northern Samar. From Tacloban City, take the Maharlika Highway (National Road) north towards Allen, Northern Samar. The drive will take approximately 3-4 hours. Once you reach Allen, take a ferry to Capul Island. The ferry ride costs around PHP 90-150 and takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Capul Island, follow the local signs or ask a local for directions to Pinangandao Beach, which is about a 15-20 minute drive or tricycle ride from the port.
Public Transportation
To reach Pinangandao Beach via public transportation, start from Tacloban City. Take a van or bus heading to Allen, Northern Samar. The fare is approximately PHP 150-200 and the journey will take around 3-4 hours. After arriving in Allen, you will need to take a ferry to Capul Island. The ferry ticket is around PHP 90-150 and the crossing takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Capul, you can hire a tricycle to take you to Pinangandao Beach, which will cost about PHP 100-150 for the short ride.
