Car
If you're driving from Manila, take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and head north towards the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). Continue on SCTEX, then merge onto the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) towards Tarlac. Follow the signs to Banaue, Ifugao. Once you reach Banaue, follow the signs to the Batad Rice Terraces. You may need to park your car at a designated area and take a local jeepney or tricycle to reach the terraces.
Public Transportation
To reach Batad Rice Terraces via public transportation, take a bus from Manila to Banaue. Several bus companies, such as Ohayami Trans and Coda Lines, offer overnight trips. Once you arrive in Banaue, you can hire a tricycle to take you to the jump-off point for Batad. From there, you will need to hike for about 30 minutes to reach the terraces. Be sure to ask locals for directions and assistance.
