If you are driving, start from Manila and take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) toward Angeles City. Continue onto the Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and then merge onto the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX). Follow signs for Urdaneta City and take the exit for the Asingan-Banaue road. Drive through the towns of Asingan and then Banaue. Ducligan Hotspring is located at W537+95F in Banaue, Ifugao. Keep an eye out for local signs directing you to the hotspring, as some parts of the road may be unpaved and narrow.
Public Transportation
To reach Ducligan Hotspring using public transport, start by taking a bus from Manila to Banaue. Several bus companies operate this route, including Ohayami Trans and Coda Lines. The bus trip takes approximately 9 to 12 hours. Upon arrival in Banaue, you can hire a tricycle to take you to Ducligan Hotspring. The tricycle ride may cost around 150 to 300 PHP depending on your negotiation skills and the distance. The hotspring is located at W537+95F, and your driver should be familiar with the area.
Combination of Public Transport and Hiking
After taking a bus from Manila to Banaue, you can opt for a more adventurous route. From Banaue, take a local jeepney or tricycle to the nearest drop-off point. Be aware that some areas leading to the hotspring may require a short hike, so wear comfortable shoes and carry water. The hike may take around 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace.
