Getting There

  • Car

    From Manila, take NLEX (North Luzon Expressway) and head towards SCTEX (Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway). Follow signs to Tarlac City and then take the exit towards the MacArthur Highway (N2). Drive north towards the town of Bambang in Nueva Vizcaya. From Bambang, take the Nueva Vizcaya-Ifugao Road (also known as the Bayombong-Ifugao Road) towards the town of Atok. Once you reach Atok, follow the signs to Kabayan. The last stop is the Mt. Pulag Ranger Station where you can register and pay the entrance fee (around PHP 100). Continue to the starting point for the hike, which is about 30 minutes from the Ranger Station.

  • Bus

    From Manila, you can take a bus to Baguio City. Several bus companies like Victory Liner and Partas offer daily trips. The fare is approximately PHP 500 and the journey takes around 6-8 hours. Once in Baguio, transfer to a bus to Kabayan or a shared jeepney heading to the Mt. Pulag Ranger Station. The bus fare from Baguio to Kabayan is approximately PHP 250 and takes about 2 to 3 hours. Upon reaching the Ranger Station, you will need to register and pay an entrance fee (around PHP 100). The jeepney ride may also incur additional costs depending on your final destination.

  • Jeepney

    If you're already in Kabayan, you can take a local jeepney from the town center to the Mt. Pulag Ranger Station. The fare is around PHP 50, and the ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule as jeepneys may not run frequently. Upon arrival, register and pay the entrance fee (around PHP 100) to access the trails.

  • Hiking
