From Malapascua Island, you will first need to take a local boat to the mainland. Head to the nearest port in Malapascua, where you can find boats heading to Maya Port. The boat fare is approximately PHP 100-150 per person and the ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Maya Port, you need to take a multicab or tricycle to Medellin. The fare for this leg of the journey is around PHP 50-100 and it will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.

If you're traveling by rental car or private vehicle, drive to Maya Port and follow the road leading to Medellin. The distance from Maya Port to the Bamboo Forest is about 20 kilometers and will take roughly 30 minutes. You will follow the Curva - Bangon - Medellin Road. Look for signs directing you to the Bamboo Forest as you approach Medellin.
