Getting There

• Public Bus

  To get to Mt. Daraitan from Manila, head to the Cubao Bus Terminal. Look for buses heading to Tanay, Rizal. Once on board, inform the conductor that you are heading to General Nakar. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. After reaching the town of General Nakar, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Mt. Daraitan. From there, you may need to take a tricycle or a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) to reach the trailhead of Mt. Daraitan.

• Van

  Make your way to the Cubao or Pasay area in Manila to find a van terminal. Look for vans going to Tanay or General Nakar. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in General Nakar, ask the driver to drop you off at a location close to Mt. Daraitan. You can then take a tricycle or habal-habal to the trailhead.

• Jeepney

  From Manila, take a bus or MRT to get to the area of Santolan or Antipolo. From there, find a jeepney that goes to Tanay. Once you reach Tanay, transfer to another jeepney heading to General Nakar. After arriving in General Nakar, ask locals for the best way to get to Mt. Daraitan, likely requiring a tricycle or habal-habal to reach the base of the mountain.
