To reach Cotta Fort via public transportation, board a bus from Cagayan de Oro City to Ozamiz City. Buses leave regularly from the Agora Bus Terminal. The fare is approximately PHP 150-200 and the journey takes around 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at the Ozamiz City Bus Terminal, you can take a tricycle (PHP 10-20) or walk to Cotta Fort, which is about 1.5 kilometers away. Follow the main road towards the city center and look for signs directing you to the fort.
