Car
If you're traveling by car, you can start your journey from Cagayan de Oro City, which is approximately 2 hours away. Take the national highway (AH26) heading towards Iligan City. Once you reach Iligan, follow the signs to the city center. From there, take the exit towards Maria Cristina Falls and continue to follow the road until you reach the turnoff for Dodiongan Falls. There will be a sign indicating the direction. The road leads to a parking area where you can leave your vehicle.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Cagayan de Oro to Iligan City. Buses frequently depart from the Agora Bus Terminal. The fare is approximately PHP 100 to PHP 150, depending on the bus company. Once you arrive at the Iligan Bus Terminal, take a tricycle to the Dodiongan Falls jump-off point. The tricycle fare is around PHP 50 per person. The driver will know the way, just mention Dodiongan Falls as your destination.

Hiking
After reaching the jump-off point by tricycle, you'll need to hike approximately 30 to 45 minutes to get to Dodiongan Falls. The trail is relatively easy to moderate, and you'll be surrounded by lush vegetation. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water for the hike. Follow the marked trail, and soon you will hear the sound of the falls welcoming you to your destination.
