Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Davao City, take the Davao-Agusan Highway (AH26) heading north. Continue on this highway for about 2.5 hours until you reach the junction towards Surigao del Sur. Turn left onto the Surigao-Davao Coastal Road (AH26) and follow the signs for Hinatuan. After approximately 1 hour, you will arrive in Hinatuan. Look for signs leading to the Enchanted River, which is located about 15 minutes from the town center. Parking is available at the site, and there might be a small entrance fee (usually around PHP 30) to access the river.

• Bus

  From Davao City, you can take a bus bound for Surigao del Sur. Check with major bus companies like Bachelor Express or Rural Transit. The journey will take around 4-5 hours. Ask the bus conductor to drop you off at the Hinatuan bus stop. From the bus stop, you can take a tricycle (around PHP 20-30) to Enchanted River, which is about 15 minutes away. Be prepared to pay a small entrance fee (typically PHP 30) when you arrive.

• Van

  Vans for hire are another option from Davao City to Hinatuan. You can find vans at the Ecoland Bus Terminal. The trip will take approximately 4-5 hours. Once in Hinatuan, you can take a tricycle to Enchanted River for about PHP 20-30. Entrance to the river usually costs around PHP 30.

• Motorcycle

  If you prefer a motorcycle ride, you can rent one in Davao City. Follow the same route as if you were driving a car. The ride offers a scenic view but can be quite challenging due to road conditions, so ensure you're comfortable with riding. Once you reach Hinatuan, follow the signs to Enchanted River. Ensure to budget for gas and the entrance fee (about PHP 30).
