Car
If you are traveling by car, you can start your journey from Cagayan de Oro City, which is about 30 kilometers away from Red Mountain. Take the National Highway (AH26) heading east towards Manticao. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, you will reach a junction in Manticao. Keep to your right and follow the signs towards Manticao. Continue straight until you reach the coordinates 89RQ+3XV (latitude: 8.3402374, longitude: 124.3899097). The road is generally well-maintained, and you will find ample parking near the site.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Red Mountain via public transportation, go to the Agora Bus Terminal in Cagayan de Oro City. Look for buses heading towards Manticao. The fare is typically around PHP 50-70. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Manticao, you can take a tricycle for around PHP 20-30 to reach the exact location at 89RQ+3XV. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the place before boarding.
Tricycle
If you are already in Manticao, you can easily hire a tricycle to take you to Red Mountain. Simply tell the driver the location (89RQ+3XV), and the fare should be around PHP 20-30. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to have cash on hand, as most drivers do not accept card payments.
