Car
If you are driving from Cagayan de Oro City, take the Puerto - Cagayan de Oro - Iligan Road (also known as the coastal road) heading towards Iligan City. After approximately 45 minutes, keep an eye out for the sign for Sinulom Falls. Turn left onto the access road leading to the falls. The drive from Cagayan de Oro City to Sinulom Falls is approximately 30 kilometers and takes about an hour, depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation
From Cagayan de Oro City, head to the local bus terminal and take a bus heading towards Iligan City. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the junction for Sinulom Falls. This journey will take about an hour. Once you arrive at the junction, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (habal-habal) to take you the remaining distance to the falls, which is approximately 15 minutes ride. The motorcycle fare may vary, so be sure to negotiate beforehand.
Hiking
If you prefer a more adventurous approach, after reaching the access road leading to Sinulom Falls, you can park your vehicle at the designated parking area and hike down to the falls. The hike is around 1.5 kilometers and takes about 30 minutes through a scenic trail. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry enough water.
