From Davao City, take the Davao-Agusan Highway (also known as the Pan-Philippine Highway) heading southeast. Continue for about 90 kilometers until you reach the town of Governor Generoso in Davao Oriental. Once in Governor Generoso, follow the signs to Tibanban - Lavigan Road. Cape San Agustin is located approximately 20 kilometers down this road. Be prepared for some rough patches; it's advisable to use a vehicle with good ground clearance.

From Davao City, catch a bus bound for Mati City at the Ecoland Bus Terminal. The fare ranges from 250 to 300 PHP. The journey takes about 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive in Mati City, take a local jeepney to Governor Generoso (fare around 40 PHP). After reaching Governor Generoso, hire a tricycle to Tibanban - Lavigan Road, which will cost approximately 100 PHP. From there, it's a short walk to Cape San Agustin.
