Car
If you're driving to Tantawan Park, head towards Cotabato City. From the north, take the Cotabato-Apag Road (also known as the Cotabato City Road), which connects to the major highways in Mindanao. From Davao City, travel north on the Davao-Cotabato Road and follow the signs to Cotabato City. Once in Cotabato City, navigate to Quezon Avenue. Tantawan Park is located directly in front of the City Hall on 73 Quezon Ave. Make sure to check for parking spaces nearby as they can be limited.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Tantawan Park via public transport from major cities in Mindanao, take a bus bound for Cotabato City. Buses frequently depart from Davao City, General Santos, and other nearby towns. Upon arrival at the Cotabato City Bus Terminal, you can either take a tricycle or walk to Quezon Avenue. The park is just a short distance from the terminal. Look for City Hall; Tantawan Park is right in front of it. Public transportation fares vary, but expect to pay around PHP 200-300 for the bus ride.
Public Transportation (Tricycle or Jeepney)
Once you are in Cotabato City, you can use a tricycle or jeepney to reach Tantawan Park. If you are near the bus terminal, tricycles are available to take you directly to the park for a fare of approximately PHP 20-50. If you choose to take a jeepney, look for those that pass through Quezon Avenue; the fare will be around PHP 10-20. Ask the driver to drop you off at City Hall, and you will find Tantawan Park right in front.
