If you're driving, head towards Malilipot, Albay. The Mayon Volcano center point is located at '7M4P+2H4, Malilipot, Albay'. From Legazpi City, take the national road towards the direction of Daraga. Continue straight until you reach the intersection; turn left to Malilipot. Follow the signs to Mayon Volcano Park. Parking is usually available nearby but may incur a small fee, typically around PHP 20-50.
Public Transportation
To reach the Mayon Volcano center point via public transportation, take a jeepney from Legazpi City to Malilipot. The fare is approximately PHP 20-30. Once you reach the Malilipot terminal, you can hire a tricycle to take you directly to the Mayon Volcano center point for about PHP 50-100. Ensure to agree on the fare before the ride.
Hiking/Walking
For the last stretch from the parking area or tricycle drop-off point, you may need to walk a short distance to the Mayon Volcano center point. Follow the established trails and signs leading up to the viewpoint, which should take around 10-15 minutes of walking. Please wear comfortable shoes and be mindful of the weather conditions.
