If you are traveling by car, start from Legazpi City. Head southwest on Jose P. Laurel Avenue towards the Diversion Road. Continue on the Diversion Road and follow the signs to the Mayon Volcano National Park. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to the Mayon Volcano Hiking Area. Parking is available at the designated area near the entrance. Note that there might be a parking fee, so keep some cash ready.

Public Transportation (Jeepney)
From Legazpi City, you can take a jeepney bound for Daraga or Ligao City. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Mayon Volcano National Park entrance. The fare is typically around 20-30 PHP. Once you arrive at the entrance, you can either walk or hire a local guide to take you to the Mayon Volcano Hiking Area, which is about a 15-minute walk from the entrance.

Motorcycle (Habal-Habal)
For a quicker option, you can hire a habal-habal (a type of motorcycle taxi) from Legazpi City to take you directly to the Mayon Volcano Hiking Area. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually ranges from 200-300 PHP depending on the distance and your bargaining skills. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and the driver will drop you off at the hiking area entrance.

If you are already near the Mayon Volcano National Park entrance, you can walk to the Mayon Volcano Hiking Area. Follow the marked trails, and it should take you around 15-20 minutes to reach the starting point of the hiking trails. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water.
