Head northwest on the Cagayan de Oro-Iligan City Road (also known as the Sayre Highway) for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach the junction for Ozamiz City. Turn left onto the Ozamiz City Road and continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach Ozamiz City. Once in the city, follow signs to the town center. Cotta Fort is located at 4RRW+4PF, Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental. There is parking available nearby, and be prepared for a small parking fee if applicable.

Bus
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Cagayan de Oro City to Ozamiz City. Buses leave regularly from the Agora Bus Terminal. The trip takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, costing around PHP 150-200. Once you arrive at the Ozamiz City Bus Terminal, you can take a tricycle or a short walk to Cotta Fort, which is about 2 kilometers away. Just inform the driver that you want to go to Cotta Fort, and they will know the location.

If you're within Ozamiz City, you can easily reach Cotta Fort by tricycle. From any point in the city, simply hail a tricycle and tell the driver to take you to Cotta Fort.
