Car
If you are driving from Cagayan de Oro, take the Sayre Highway (AH26) heading towards Bukidnon. Continue for about 2 hours until you reach Maramag. Look for the junction near the Maramag town proper and take the road leading to Mount Alig. The final destination is approximately 30 minutes from the town center. Be aware that some sections may be unpaved, so a vehicle with good clearance is advisable.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Cagayan de Oro, take a bus to Bukidnon. Buses leave from the Agora Bus Terminal. The travel time is approximately 2-3 hours, depending on traffic. Ask the bus conductor to drop you off at Maramag. Once in Maramag, you can hire a local tricycle or van to take you to Mount Alig. This last leg of the journey will take about 30 minutes. Expect to pay around PHP 100-200 for the tricycle fare.
Tricycle
If you are already in Maramag and need to reach Mount Alig, you can easily find tricycles near the town center. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The trip will take about 30 minutes to reach Mount Alig from Maramag, and the fare should be around PHP 150-300, depending on the negotiation.
