After approximately 2 hours of driving, you will arrive in the town of Maramag, Bukidnon. Once in Maramag, follow the signs leading to Musuan. Mt. Kalayo is located in Musuan, around 10 kilometers from Maramag town center. Make sure to use a GPS navigation app to get precise directions as you approach Musuan, ensuring you stay on the correct local roads.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Cagayan de Oro City to Maramag. Several bus companies operate this route, including Rural Transit and Bachelor Express. The travel time is approximately 3-4 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Maramag bus terminal, you can hire a local tricycle or jeepney to take you to Musuan, which is about 10 kilometers away. The fare for the tricycle ride may range from 50 to 100 PHP depending on the negotiation and the distance covered.
